About The Role

The Project Manager, US Expansion reports to the Director of Product & Strategy and is responsible for engaging both internally and with partners to organize tasks, establish deadlines, and coordinate project completion. 

As your first project, the project manager will act as the main point of contact between Hero Innovation Group and its partners in the United States such as the issuing bank, processor, and card manufacturer in order to collect and share information and deliverables for our US product launch.

This is a full-time role.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own partner relationships and lead both internal and external parties to execution
  • Schedule and attend meetings with external partners, taking detailed notes around to-dos and deadlines
  • Manage relationships via constant communication and meetings with both external partners and within the Hero team in order to lead execution of deliverables
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Build roadmaps, Gantt charts, and detailed task lists to be shared internally
  • Hold team members accountable to deadlines and deliverables
  • Track project costs in order to meet budget; build out budget forecasts based on partner pricing models

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Project management experience in a high-paced environment
  • Interest in and knowledge of the fintech space
  • Excellent communication (both written and on video calls) and organizational skills
  • Experience using project management software such as Monday.com, Notion, Smartsheet, and Miro to organize tasks and build roadmaps and Gantt charts
  • Experience with and knowledge of the parties involved in prepaid card issuing or banking preferred
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Status

  • Full time, remote role with plenty of opportunity for growth and increased responsibility
  • Majority of meetings will take place between 8AM-5PM Pacific Time.
