Chief Executive Officer

MAO SUN

Mao has been working in public practice since 2003. Mao works on clients from various industries, and has extensive knowledge of Canadian and international accounting standards. Mao has extensive experience with Canadian listed public companies and worked in the positions of director, chair of audit committee and CFO. He also has a good understanding of both Canadian corporate and personal taxes. Prior to founding Mao & Ying LLP (formerly SunRonkai LLP) in 2009, he worked in the assurance practice of KPMG Vancouver office.


Mao graduated with a Master's Degree from Columbia University in New York City in May 2000. He also has a Bachelor's Degree in computer science from Nanjing University, China.

Chief Financial Officer

KEVIN CHEN

Mr. Chen has over 20 years of experience in senior financial executive roles and his work focuses on private and public companies in the mining and technology sector. Mr. Chen began his career as an auditor with KPMG LLP and is a CPA, CMA in British Columbia with an MBA degree from Western University. 

Independent Director

WILLIAM YING

William brings over 20 years of experience in capital markets, private equity, and venture capital fields to his role with EAP. He has extensive knowledge and experience as a Corporate Director, particularly in the areas of enterprise risk management, corporate strategy, transformational changes, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and succession planning.


William served as the CEO and a director of a publicly traded company listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange. He has been recruited as a mentor of the Mentor in Business program at Simon Fraser University since 2016 to provide advice and guidance for graduate students about potential career paths, industries and functions. From 1997 to 2018, William worked as Investment Advisor at various investment dealers, covering wealth management, IPO/RTO and financing.


William holds an MBA degree from the Ivey School of Business at Western University.

Independent Director

WEI SHAO

Mr. Shao is the national practice group co‐leader for the China Service at Dentons Canada and specializes in international business transactions. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and project financing, complicated corporate and commercial transactions, and advising clients with respect to business negotiations, policy and regulatory matters, as well as government relations.


Mr. Shao has represented Asian investors and entrepreneurs, sovereign and investment funds, private and public companies as well as major SOEs in various significant transactions in or through Canada. He has also advised Canadian and international companies in their investment in China and other parts of Asia.



Mr. Shao is also an interpreter accredited by the United Nations and by the federal government of Canada. As an interpreter or consultant, he has been involved in numerous ministerial and prime ministerial meetings or negotiations between Canada and China.

DAVID STREBINGER

David is a thought leader and visionary in the field of mobile, marketing and data analytics. His enthusiasm and passion for solving large-scale industry problems, combined with his ability to inspire world-class talent to follow him sets him apart among Canada’s entrepreneurs. David is Co-Founder and CEO of PayWith Worldwide, Inc.


Altogether, David has over twenty years of experience in online marketing, financial technology, mobile development and corporate finance. After attending the University of British Columbia, David launched his first venture at the age of 26. By 29, David had successfully grown the business to allow for his first successful exit and to take on new challenges.
